The hotel is situated in an excellent position, just a short walk from the centre, overlooking the lake, and is surrounded by a garden that slopes down towards the lake. The hotel Rivabella au Lac is managed by its owners with joy and passion and offers a warm family welcome for an enjoyable holiday. The simple, well-kept rooms all have their own bathrooms and most have views over the park and lake.

Very friendly, very clean and very satisfactory. If you are looking for 5 star luxury, try another place. If you ant a good view, good service and a great breakfast, this is the place for you. A bit noisy street wise, otherwise nice. Also no restaurant.

The rooms

All the rooms with lake view have their own bathroom or shower and toilet, telephone, safe, television and radio. Free of charge WI-Fi is available in the entire hotel. There are different types of room available, including large and small rooms with a lake view, all with twin beds.

The terrace

During fine weather guests can have breakfast on the terrace, enjoying the view of the lake and surrounding mountains.

The hotel has a sunbathing area, with chairs and sun-loungers provided, and access is available to the lake for a refreshing swim.

In the evening you can have a drink on the terrace enjoying the calm that surrounds you.

The garden

The park dates back to when the hotel was built in 1878 and has paths leading off in all directions, allowing guests to discover a huge variety of plants and flowers from all over the world which flourish here as a result of the microclimate at Lake Maggiore.

There are plants and flowers in bloom all year round, thanks to the passion and loving care of the owners.

Tolles Hotel mit wunderschönem Garten und Seeanstoss

Wir verbrachten im August 2022 2 Nächte im Rivabella. Sehr freundlicher Empfang durch die Eigentümer, hervorragendes Frühstück (KEIN Buffet), wunderschöner Garten zum Entspannen und direkter Seeanstoss mit angenehmen Liegen im Schatten. Parkplatz direkt beim Hotel. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

sehr schöne und erholsame Ferienwoche an einem wunderbaren Ort

Wir waren nun schon zum 4. Mal bei Herrn Quaglia und seinem Team zu Besuch. Wie immer hat uns die riesige Gastfreundschaft, der wunderschöne Garten und das Hotelzimmer sehr gefallen. Vielen Dank nochmals, dass wir diese Woche recht kurzfristig zusammen mit unseren Söhnen im Rivabella verbringen durften.Highlight ist immer wieder das Frühstück, dass von Verbena liebevoll serviert wird.Dass man die Terrasse den ganzen Tag und auch am Abend uneingeschränkt nutzen kann (und dort auch mal picknicken kann) ist wirklich toll.Liebe Grüsse an Alle und bis ein anderes Mal :-)Vreni, Dani, Dominik und Nicola

Totale Begeisterung

Wir waren wiedereinmal 8 Tage in Urlaub im Hotel Rivabella Au Lac.Wie seit ca.20 Jahren totale Begeisterung.Herr Quaglia ist das Mass aller dinge von Hotel Manager.Totaler Service.Service vom Frühstück sehr gut.Vielseitig Sauber,Freundlichkeit ist auch seit vielen Jahren das A u.O.Wir können das Hotel Wärmstens empfehlen.Sehr gute Bedienung.1 Klassik.Die Mutter ist nach wie vor der Sonnenschein dieses Hotels.Wir empfehlen dieses Hotel auch der Aussicht wegen.Erstklassig.

Die Oase in Brissago

Wir haben ein schönes, geräumiges Zi mit Seeblick gehabt. Das Hotel ist sehr familiär und liebevoll geführt. Grösste Sauberkeit und Ordnung herrschen in Haus und Gartenanlage. Das Schwimmen im Lago war diesen Sommer besonders angenehm, das Wasser kristallklar und warm.
